Edred.net is Runa-Raven Press News Magazine. It is intended to promote ideas and culture around topics central to the offerings of Runa-Raven Press. For that reason you will find many of the authors from Runa-Raven represented here, and organizations friendly to these ideas such as the Rune-Gild, Temple of Set and The Woodharrow Institute for Germanic and Runic Studies. This fact should be obvious for no other reason than the makeup of our staff.

Stephen Edred Flowers, Ph.D., (a.k.a. Edred Thorsson) is the world’s leading expert on esoteric, or “radical”, runology. He has published over forty books on this and related subjects. In 1980 he founded the Rune-Gild, the world’s largest and most influential initiatory organization dedicated to Rune-Work and the Odian path. His work is devoted to seeking the principle of RUNA – the Mystery – as understood in the mythic idiom of the Germanic Peoples.

Dr. Flowers is also a VI* in the Temple of Set.
