» The Fallen Angel (Der gefallene Engel)

Some years back, Blood Axis composed and released a track called "Der gefallene Engel" (The Fallen Angel) for which Edred performed a guest vocal. The text is a poem from Gregorius, the leader of the Fraternitas Saturni.

Recorded in Portland, Oregon in 1999.

 

This song originally appeared on the CD The Pact ... of the Gods (Fremdheit/Tesco Germany, 2000), a compilation which was put together by Ian Read and Michael Moynihan. 

The song first appeared in a slightly different mix on the double 10" vinyl boxset Saturn Gnosis (Loki Foundation, Germany, 2000). 

The song will appear on the Blood Axis CD Ultimacy, due out in 2009.
