Edred.net Subscriptions
This is a message from Edred concerning Radio Free Runa.
The project known as Radio Free Runa is one where I can teach a wide range of topics rapidly and in a lively manner. These form a regular audio-feed from the website edred.net. Each broadcast is between 30 and 50 minutes in length. They cover a range of topics, most of which fall into one of three categories: 1) academic or historical background, 2) esoteric commentary and 3) practical and cultural applications. In fact these categories easily overlap in my presentations of them. This is intentional. I will be attempting to teach the Way of Runa in a deep and complex manner, while endeavoring not to be boring or difficult. For the most part I will talk about what interests me that day or week. But given the range of my interests, do not be surprised if you hear a good deal about Dumezilian Functions one day and Plan Nine from Outer Space the next- also do not be shocked if I find a way to synthesize them. By listening to the broadcasts of Radio Free Runa you will open your mind to the Odian Realm.

Edred.net is now offering subscriptions. To decide if a subscription benefits you, consider the following.
First, observe the free content available such as these talks or Don Webb’s blog. If all you do is listen to free content and read what others have said then by all means don’t sign up even though it’s free.
Then consider the books, music and talks available from $2 on up. If all you’re going to do is purchase the occasional book such as Black Runa or the random Radio Free Runa talk then all you need to do is become a member. You’ll appear to others in Edred.net as a “Listener”. You can blog, post in the forums and you’ll be notified of new titles becoming available such as Runes and Magic and The Serpent and the Eagle. Just purchase items occasionally as you wish.
But if you want to listen to and download Edred’s thrice-weekly talks then a subscription is for you.
Radio Free Runa consists of three, fifty minute talks per week given by Edred.
The Monday talks (numbered talk 1, 4, 7 and so on) deal with exoteric matters.
Wednesday talks (numbered 2, 5, 8, etc.) deal with esoteric topics.
Friday talks (3,6,9 and so on) are a synthesis of Monday and Wednesday talks.

Three talks per week means there will be 156 talks per year. That’s 130 hours of talks.
If you buy them all individually it would cost you $312.00 at $2 each. Still quite reasonable for the amount of material you get, but we’re offering ways to save even more on these monumental talks. Here’s an example with a free download to show you how it works:

into where it says “Apply Promo Code”. If the code is in the “Apply Promo Code” box, click “Update”. You’ll see that the coupon has reduced the price to zero.
Click “Checkout” and you will be redirected to “My Files”. Here you can download a copy of the talk. This file will be available to you for about three days. The files are about 11 megabytes, so take that into consideration. These are MP3 files, meaning you can also copy them to an MP3 player.
There are three plans available. Each “use” is worth $2, in other words each time you apply your private Promo code to an item, it counts as one use. The monthly plan provides 13 uses, or a $26 value. Since it only costs you $15 for 13 “credits” or Promo code usages, you save $11. Similarly, you save $40 with a quarterly plan and $85 with the bi-annual plan.
