Regarding the cast of heroes, players can unlock in King Arthur: A Knight’s Tale, few characters come close to the cultural recognition of the valiant Sir Lancelot. A renowned Knight of the Round Table, only Kings Arthur or Merlin are better known in Arthurian myth. However, players looking to recruit Sir Lancelot into Sir Mordred’s sequel won’t be disappointed with his battlefield performance.
As players begin their journey as Sir Mordred in King Arthur: A Knight’s Tale, they will be quickly introduced to the game’s morality system. As the player chooses different actions and choices throughout the game, they will lead the reincarnated Sir Mordred towards justice or down a tyrannical path. Gameplay-wise, righteous players will have a more efficient Camelot. In contrast, Tyrannical players will gain more resources to use to rebuild and upgrade the famous castle. But upgrades to Camelot in King Arthur: A Knight’s Tale are not the only effects of the moral system. Companion Loyalty is tied to this stat as well, as heroes of morality or religion opposing Sir Mordred will lose their loyalty to the new leader of Camelot.
While most heroes have an alignment that determines their loyalty, a few select heroes in King Arthur: A Knight’s Tale are locked behind specific values in the alignment system. Unfortunately, the mighty Sir Lancelot is one of those heroes locked behind the virtuous path. Therefore, not only will players need high piety to keep Sir Lancelot loyal and happy, but players won’t even be able to recruit the knight without a specific dedication to the virtuous path for Camelot.
How to Unlock Sir Lancelot’s Quest in King Arthur: Knight’s Tale
Once players have reached a total of 13 Righteousness points in King Arthur: A Knight’s Talefrom the dark story, they will unlock a new side mission to complete. Upon entering this new mission, “The Protector”, players will be tasked with finding Sir Lancelot and saving the nearby village. Completing this task adds Sir Lancelot to the player’s roster, allowing the player to use and improve the character in the future.
Sir Lancelot is a powerful ally that players can use in their quest to defeat King Arthur. Sir Lancelot comes with power buffs like Inspire, as well as strong offensive abilities. Sir Lancelot can easily find a place as a mainstay in many Righteous player games, as the damage and utility he brings to the table isn’t easy to let go. With the power of Sir Lancelot at his side, nothing will stop Sir Mordred in his quest to kill King Arthur in King Arthur: A Knight’s Tale.
