My to-do list this week is incredibly long and boring. I have to clean my bathroom, scrub my oven and take care of this huge pile of laundry. Everything is banal and a bit too much.
Fortunately, I have a welcome distraction. There is a sensational television falling on the streaming services. Who needs chores when you have a Stan membership?

Great (Season 2)
What: When Great Launched on Stan in 2020, it quickly became one of the streaming service’s most successful series. Created by Australian Tony McNamara (who also created Nine’s doctor doctor and won an Oscar nomination for his screenplay for The favourite), the series has been hailed by fans and critics as one of the best on television.
In season 2 of the satirical-comedy drama, a pregnant Catherine (Elle Fanning) finally takes the Russian throne for herself – but if she thought her husband’s move, Emperor Peter III (Nicholas Hoult) was difficult , this is nothing compared to the realities of “liberating” a country that does not want to be. GreatS’s stellar writing is backed up by brilliant acting and luscious production values. Hault recently told Vulture that the extreme efforts to keep authenticity on set even extend to the food the characters eat. In one scene, Peter and Aunt Elizabeth eat a ton of ice cream.
“It was actually made of lard and something else, so it wouldn’t melt onscreen. It was the closest I’ve ever been to being really upset on set, because I was like ‘This is ridiculous,’ “he said. noted.

Tiger King 2
What: Throw away your memory at the very beginning of the pandemic. The world was getting used to masks, social distancing and the outrageous documentary frenzy Tiger King: murder, chaos and madness. The documentary series has become a pandemic hit for Netflix, examining the trafficking and abuse of exotic animals, allegations that Carole Baskin murdered her second husband, Don Lewis, and introducing us to the mad adventures of Joe Exotic.

It is these armchair detectives who drive the plot of the second series of King tiger. At the end of the first season, Joe Exotic was jailed for 22 years for the reckoning on Baskin. A mountain of support for Exotic has emerged and the Free Joe campaign is now in full swing.
King tigerBaskin’s second season explores this campaign and sheds new light on what could have happened to Baskin’s missing ex-husband.
We also hear Exotic in prison and catch up with a lot of King tigereccentric characters of and how their lives have changed since the release of the first season. Lacking Tiger King 2 is Baskin, who only appears in pre-recorded footage. After the original King tiger made her debut, Baskin said the directors tried to “clean the air” with her, but she told them to “lose my number because that was not at all what we agreed we were going to do. were working ”.
