NEW ORLEANS (press release) – On Thursday, April 28, legends of the spirits industry Dale Degroff and Cedd Moses will host a cocktail party at Southern Food and Beverage Museum (SoFAB)to celebrate the release of Degroff’s latest book, The new cocktail craft and the last book of Moses, Pour with the heart. Signed copies of both books will be available for purchase at the Meet the Authors. At the price of $50 per person ($40 for SoFAB members), the ticket includes cocktails featuring Hendricks Neptunia Gin, plus sumptuous seafood prepared by SoFAB’s chefs-in-residence, Colleen Allerton and Camille Staub.

Dale Degroff, also known as “King Cocktail”, was one of the first bartenders in the United States to revive classic pre-prohibition-era cocktails from his bar at New York’s Rainbow Room at the end of the 1980s. Degroff reinvented the profession of bartender and launched a cocktail revival that continues today.
Cedd Moses is founder and CEO of 213 Nightlife Group, which operates some of downtown Los Angeles’ best-known cocktail lounges, including Seven Grand Whiskey Bar, Golden Gopher and Broadway Bar. Moses helped revitalize the food and beverage scene in downtown Los Angeles and now devotes his time to fostering the careers of members of the beverage industry. Degroff and Moses are both board members of the Southern Food & Beverage Museum in New Orleans.
The cocktail will take place on Thursday April 28from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. to Southern Food and Beverage Museum, 1504 Oretha Castle Boulevard Haley. in New Orleans.
