Sylvester Stallone hits the mean streets of… Oklahoma, in the first trailer for the new mob drama king of tulsa (Premieres Sunday, Nov. 13 on Paramount+).
Created by Yellowstone author Taylor Sheridan and show directed by Boardwalk Empire boss Terence Winter, king of tulsa “follows New York mob capo Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi (Stallone, in his first major television role) right after he is released from prison after 25 years and is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to settle” in the Sooner State, according to the official connection line. “Realizing that his mafia family may not have their best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a cast of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that for him might as well be another planet.”
In addition to Stallone, the cast includes Andrea Savage (I am sorry), Max Casella (The tender bar), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Domenick Lombardozzi (The Irishman), Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire), Jay Will (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), AC Peterson (Superman and Lois), Garrett Hedlund (USA vs. Billie Holiday) and Dana Delany (piece of evidence) – most of which are pictured below.
Following its streaming premiere on November 13, Paramount Network will host a linear broadcast of king of tulsathe first two episodes from Sunday November 20, immediately following a new episode of Yellowstone.
