Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, received Moroccan Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch as King Mohammed’s envoy on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. VI.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the prospects of further consolidating the fraternal relations uniting the two countries and the various aspects of cooperation, especially in the areas of investment and the economy, with a view to stimulating the development momentum in the two countries for the sake of their peoples, the UAE news agency WAM reported.
They also reviewed the latest developments in the Arab region and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, WAM added.
Discussions focused on the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai and the importance of the participation of Arab countries in the event, a place where they could share the latest innovations and solutions with various participating countries in the fields of sustainability for the the common good of mankind to great and the well-being of all the peoples of the world.
During the audience, Akhannouch conveyed the Sovereign’s greetings and best wishes for health and happiness to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyane, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity to the United Arab Emirates and its people.
Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his warmest greetings to King Mohammed VI, wishing him good health, continued progress and development for the Kingdom of Morocco and its people under his wise leadership.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita.
