Uba A. Michael Receives Chieftaincy Title From Nigeria’s Oldest King

Businessman and philanthropist, Uba A. Michael added another feather to his cut as he was bestowed with a chieftaincy title on Friday by His Royal Majesty, Ovie, Dr Richard Layeguen Ogbon.

Uba Michael, who is also a gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming 2023 elections in Delta State, will now bear the title Olorogun Efevogho of Olomu Kingdom.

The registration certificate presented to him by the Traditional Council of Chiefs of Olomu reads: “This is to certify that Chief Uba A. Michael has been granted the title of Olorogun (leader) of the kingdom of Efevogho of Olomu by His Royal Majesty Ovie, Richard L. Ogbon OGONI-Oghoro I, JP OON, The Owhorode of Olomu Kingdom after consultation with the Traditional Council of Chiefs of Olomu (Agbodo-Olomu) and as the sole authority prescribed under the Edict of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, 1998, Delta State in Nigeria”

Apart from aiming for the number one seat in Delta State, Uba Michael is also a successful businessman, philanthropist and advocate for good governance.

Attending the event were Chief Matthew Emegbo, Hon. Olorogun Taleb Tebite JP, Bishop Simeon Okah, Chief Tommy Ewhrudjakpor among others.
